KENNEBUNKPORT — State police have confirmed that the death of an 87-year-old woman last week was not caused by someone who intruded into her home.
Louise Bocuzzo of Beachwood Avenue was found dead June 12. Police have determined a cause of death, but authorities are not releasing details of the autopsy.
Stephen McCausland, a Maine State Police spokesman, said Monday that authorities have not labeled the death “suspicious, ” but they are still investigating.
“I can tell you that we have no evidence of a break-in, a home invasion or an intrusion, ” said McCausland.
Bocuzzo was found dead at the home of her granddaughter, Catherine Daly.
