Larry Owens scored 37 points and distributed seven assists Thursday afternoon to lead the Tulsa 66ers to a 113-107 NBA Development League win over the Maine Red Claws at Tulsa, Okla.

Tulsa (17-14) took the lead early with a 10-4 run. Maine fought back and cut the lead to three (17-14) after Maurice Ager’s layup with 6:10 left. The 66ers closed the quarter by outscoring Maine, 18-7, to regain their edge.

Tulsa continued to roll in the second quarter, leading by as many as 21 (48-27), but the Red Claws got within 10 by halftime.

The 66ers opened the second half with a pair of 3-pointers from Moses Ehambe. Later in the quarter, Ehambe hit another 3 and Owens followed with a dunk for Tulsa’s largest lead of the game, 83-58 with 3:01 left in the third period.

Maine (19-12) had six players in double figures. Morris Almond had 20 points. Trey Gilder and Billy Thomas scored 17 and 16. Russell Robinson had 14 points and 10 assists. Ager had 13 points and T.J. Cummings scored 10.
