HIDALGO, Texas – Craig Winder scored 25 points off the bench to lead the Rio Grande Valley Vipers to a 117-107 win over the Maine Red Claws on Sunday night at Dodge Arena.

Winder had six points during a 17-0 run in the third quarter as the Vipers extended their lead to 86-66.

Maine cut the deficit to four on a 3-pointer by Terrell Harris with 5:57 left, but the Vipers held the Red Claws scoreless for more than three minutes to push the lead back to 10.

Both teams had six players in double figures.

Maurice Ager scored 21 points for the Red Claws (20-12), and Russell Robinson added 20 points, five rebounds and five assists. Trey Gilder contributed 19 points off the bench, Morris Almond had 15, Terrell Harris scored 13 and TJ Cummings finished with 11.

Will Conroy had 21 points and 14 assists for Rio Grande (23-9). Jermaine Taylor scored 22 points.
