The Lincoln Middle School has lifted the lockdown that was in place this morning. School officials declared a lockdown – preventing people from entering or leaving the school and restricting students to their classrooms – for safety reasons after a threatening note was found on a bathroom wall at 8:30 a.m., according to an e-mail sent to parents.

The school did a limited search of classrooms, students and lockers.

The school consulted with police who determined at 10 a.m. there was no danger to students or staff.
