JONESBORO — A Jonesboro man who went missing late last week has been found dead next to his vehicle, which apparently became stuck on a forest road in eastern Maine.
Maine state police say the body of 74-year-old Charles “Lucky” Fagonde was found about 3 p.m. today by a pair of loggers. His car and his body were about a mile from his home.
Steve McCausland of the Maine Public Safety Department says it appears Fagonde’s car had become stuck in mud along the trail. He says troopers found no initial indication of foul play.
