The Freeport Lacrosse Boosters will hold an equipment drive from 9 a.m. to noon today at the high school. Donations of used and new lacrosse equipment are welcome to help young players develop.

 

Registration for Maine Girls Hockey Academy summer camps will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. today at Portland Ice Arena. Tim Drown, owner of To Be A Champion and director of off-ice training and conditioning, will be available to answer questions.

 

The OA Performance Center in Saco will hold an Endurance Sports Expo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. The event will feature free seminars, demonstrations and exhibits aimed at endurance athletes, such as runners, Nordic skiers, cyclists and triathletes. For more information, call 710-5509.

 

The University of Southern Maine School of Business and the Portland Regional Chamber will hold a forum on the business of sports from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland. The program will include discussions about what it means to sponsor sports events and the economic impact of sports. The keynote speaker is Brian Corcoran, president of Shamrock Sports Group.
