AUGUSTA — Maine energy officials say heating oil prices remain unchanged from last week.
In its weekly price survey, the Office of Energy Independence and Security said the average price of heating oil stood at $2.68 per gallon today.
The lowest prices were found in southwestern Maine, where heating oil averaged $2.56 a gallon. Northern Maine had the highest average price of $2.86.
The statewide average kerosene price was $3.06 per gallon, which was unchanged from a week ago.
Propane came in at $2.81 a gallon, down 6 cents from last week.
