Maine Manufacturing LLC in Sanford has been awarded the 2010 Governor’s Award for Business Excellence.
The award is made annually to a company that shows a commitment to sustainability, its employees and community.
Founded in 2007, the company took on many of the employees laid off last year from the Whatman Division of GE Healthcare, located just down the road from Maine Manufacturing.
