HARRISON — A motorcyclist was badly injured in Harrison about 5 p.m. Saturday when he collided with a car on Edes Falls Road.
The man, a Maine resident in his 40s, was taken by helicopter to Maine Medical Center because of serious internal injuries, said Deputy Chief Jeff Murphy of the Harrison Fire Department.
Murphy said the car and the motorcycle were traveling in opposite directions. The road was closed for more than four hours as police reconstructed the accident.
