Dunegrass Country Club will hold a season-opening party from 6-9 p.m. Thursday. There will be entertainment by Rog and Ray, a Jimmy Buffet cover band, a cash bar and free appetizers. The party is open to the public.

 

The Falmouth Football Boosters will hold a dance to benefit the Falmouth football, girls’ hockey, and volleyball teams. The dance, featuring the music of Tony Boffa, will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight Friday at the Italian Heritage Center in Portland. Price is $20 per person. The Maine Rebels semiprofessional women’s football team will begin its 2010 home schedule with a game against the New Jersey Justice at Fitzpatrick Stadium at 8 p.m. Friday.
