WINDHAM – Drew Gagnon hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning Thursday to lift unbeaten Windham to a 9-8 victory against Biddeford in a Telegram League baseball game.

Gagnon finished 3 for 4 with four RBI, and Collin Mello was 2 for 4 with a home run, two runs and three RBI.

Biddeford (0-2) took an 8-6 lead on Travis Vigneault’s three-run homer in the sixth. Windham (3-0) pulled within 8-7 in the bottom of the inning on Tucker Miller’s RBI single.

DEERING 7, MARSHWOOD 4: John Hardy knocked in the go-ahead run with a triple in the seventh inning as Deering (2-1) pulled away from Marshwood (1-2) at South Berwick.

Nick DiBiase led the Rams with two RBI, and Jamie Ross pitched a four-hitter with seven strikeouts and five walks for the win.

Luke Fernandez of Marshwood struck out eight, walked two and gave up six hits. Ben Yarian drove in three of the Hawks’ four runs.

THORNTON ACADEMY 7, SOUTH PORTLAND 1: Keegan Sullivan and Alex Newton each hit a two-run double to lead the Trojans (2-1) past the Red Riots (1-1) at South Portland.

Jack Kenney gave up one run and struck out four in five innings for Thornton.

Zack Horton had three hits, including an RBI single, for the Red Riots.

PORTLAND 4, KENNEBUNK 1: Max Dismore and Kyle Reichert drove in two runs each for the Bulldogs (2-0) against Kennebunk (1-2) at Portland.

Reichert gave Portland a 1-0 lead with a double in the second inning. Portland added three in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Reichert and a two-run triple by Dismore.

Caleb Fraser of Portland pitched a three-hitter with five strikeouts and one walk.

CHEVERUS 6, MASSABESIC 4: Louie DiStasio scored the go-ahead run on an error in the fourth inning and allowed one earned run on three hits in four innings as the Stags (3-0) beat the Mustangs (0-3) at Portland.

Joey Royer cracked a two-run double in the first inning, and Kyle Randall tripled and scored in the second as Cheverus took a 4-1 lead.

SCARBOROUGH 13, NOBLE 4: Blake Brubach hit a solo homer in the second inning and a three-run blast in the fourth as the Red Storm (2-1) downed the Knights (0-3) at North Berwick.

Joe Cronin struck out 12 in 5 2/3 innings to earn the win and had three hits, including a double and a triple.

GORHAM 16, SANFORD 3: Sean Grandmaison drove in five runs with four hits to lead the Rams (1-2) over the Redskins (1-1) in five innings at Sanford.

Brandon Joyce added four RBI for the Rams, who put together 17 hits.

Sanford took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the first on a two-run homer by Ryan Legere.

LAKE REGION 21, POLAND 9: Josh Robbins singled, doubled and hit a three-run homer as Lake Region (1-2) posted a five-inning victory against the Knights (0-3) at Poland.

Josh VanEeuwen got the win, striking out eight and allowing five hits.

YORK 3, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2: Tanner Chase scored on a two-out single by Anthony Sciaudone in the seventh inning to lift the Wildcats (3-0) over the Patriots (0-3) at Gray.

Aaron Todd pitched a three-hitter for York.

WISCASSET 8, GEORGES VALLEY 2: Jay Lamoreaux and Cody Verrill each hit two-run homers, and Mason Brewer doubled twice and had two RBI to lead Wiscasset (1-2) past Georges Valley (0-1) at Thomaston.

Brandon Knight had two hits for the Buccaneers.
