BANGOR — The four candidates for the Democratic nomination for Maine governor will debate today in Bangor.
Pat McGowan, Libby Mitchell, Steve Rowe and Rosa Scarcelli will take part in the debate sponsored by the Bangor Region Chamber and Eaton Peabody law firm. It will be held at Husson College and moderated by Jim Morris, anchor and news director at WABI-TV 5 in Bangor.
The Democratic field recently shrank from five to four contenders when John Richardson dropped out of the race. Seven Republicans are contending for their party’s nomination in the June 8 primary.
