WINDHAM – Ben Noble pitched a five-hitter with three strikeouts and one walk Saturday to lead Windham, one of the teams seeking a Western Class A playoff berth, to a 9-0 victory against Kennebunk in a Telegram League baseball game.

Cody Laberge cracked a three-run homer in the fourth inning for the Eagles (9-6) against the Rams (5-10).

Drew Gagnon doubled, tripled and drove in two runs for Windham. Tucker Miller had two triples and an RBI.

SOUTH PORTLAND 9, MASSABESIC 1: Andrew Richards allowed two hits, walked one and struck out six in six scoreless innings to lead the Red Riots (10-5) past the Mustangs (4-11) at South Portland.

Connor Vincent hit a two-run single to start South Portland’s four-run second. Ryan Curit had two hits and an RBI for the Riots.

WAYNFLETE SWEEPS TRAIP ACADEMY: Charlie Laprade allowed two unearned runs on four walks and five hits, while striking out six in a 5-2 victory for the Flyers (8-7) in the first game of a sweep against the Rangers (7-8) at Portland.

Laprade also had two hits and Max Ritchie went 3 for 4 for Waynflete in the opener.

In the second game, Traip pitchers issued eight walks and hit two batters as Waynflete emerged with a 10-8 victory.

John Sherman drove in three for the Flyers, two on a single and the other on a bases-loaded walk. Tom Ryan scored three runs for Waynflete.

RICHMOND SWEEPS RANGELEY: Wade Tuttle had a double, a single and three RBI in the first game, and Ben Carver hit a two-run double in the second as the Bobcats (11-3) swept the Lakers (8-5), 14-2 and 4-2 at Richmond.

GIRLS’ LACROSSE

CAPE ELIZABETH 11, MASSABESIC 10: Lauren Steidl scored her third goal of the game with 30 seconds left to lift the Capers (8-4) over the Mustangs (5-6) at Waterboro.

Karyn Barrett and Talley Perkins also finished with three goals apiece for Cape Elizabeth.

Nikki Smith and Jenna Cyr scored three goals each for Massabesic.

FREEPORT 13, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 3: Lucy Whitacre had two goals and two assists for the Falcons (4-8) against the Raiders (0-12) at Fryeburg.

Hannah Schuchert added two goals and an assist, and Jess Hench and Ally Fuehrer each scored twice.

Shradha Miller had six saves for Freeport.

Janna Kurnick, Aslyn Dindorf and Makenzi Brown answered for Fryeburg.

CONY 16, EDWARD LITTLE 6: Macy Pagurko had four goals and an assist as the Rams (8-4) beat the Eddies (3-9) at Auburn.

Cassie Diplock added four goals, and Naomi Miller added three goals and an assist for Cony. Also for Cony, Hayley Lachance had two goals and an assist, Kayla Vachon scored two goals, Chelsea Begin had a goal and an assist, and Kasey Lee had two assists. Katrina Duncan made 12 saves.

Saydi Voisine had three goals and Shelby Russell two for Edward Little.

SOFTBALL

MORSE 13, LEWISTON 5: Neisa Ryder had three hits with a triple and three RBI, and Delaney Fone also drove in three runs to pace the Shipbuilders (4-11) past the Blue Devils (0-15) at Lewiston.

Kate Thibodeau added three hits and two RBI for the Shipbuilders. Kate Dumais had three hits for Lewiston.
