A man who had to be extricated from an SUV that rolled over on the Wells interchange of  the Maine Turnpike has been hospitalized with unspecified injuries.

Maine State Police said witnesses saw the SUV traveling erratically at speeds of 80 to 100 mph before the southbound vehicle lost control and rolled over on the Exit 19 ramp at 11:20 a.m. Police said a medical condition may have contributed to the driver’s behavior.

State Police troopers are investigating the crash.
