– Maine Coast United won Soccer Maine’s Under-17 boys’ state cup, defeating Seacoast United two games to one, and will represent Maine at the U.S. Youth Soccer Region 1 Championships from July 1-6 in Barboursville and Huntington, W. Va.
Bill Jarvey aced the fourth hole at Spring Meadows on May 14. He used a 5-iron for the 158-yard shot, which was witnessed by Don Goodwin.
Matthew Bowden of Portland used a pitching wedge to score a hole-in-one on the 159-yard seventh hole at Willowdale Golf Club on May 16.
