Blues band Savoy Brown recorded its first singles in 1966. Over the years, the band’s lineup has had many changes, but founder and lead guitarist Kim Simmonds is still at the helm. For Friday’s show in Portland, Savoy Brown will be accompanied by a light show courtesy of the Pig Light Show, famed for light shows at the Fillmore East in the 1960s and 1970s.
