PORTLAND — The Scarborough girls’ lacrosse team finished a perfect season Saturday with a 11-7 win over Mt. Ararat to capture the Class A state championship at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

The Red Storm (15-0) got goals from eight players.

“They did it,” said Scarborough Coach Marcia Wood. “They worked so hard.”

It was the first state championship game appearance for Mt. Ararat.
