DAYTON — A York County sheriff’s deputy is expected to make a full recovery after totaling his cruiser early this morning.
Deputy Chris Roux failed to negotiate a curve on Clarks Mill Road around 3:30 a.m, Sheriff Maurice Ouellette said in a statement. Roux was responding to a report of a burglary in progress, which turned out to be unfounded.
Roux was taken to Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford and then transferred to Maine Medical Center in Portland for evaluation.
