Undeterred by gray skies, visitors and Mainers reached the beaches Monday. Graeme Houston, 17, and his brother William Houston, 11, of Toronto dive for a football at Gooch’s Beach in Kennebunk. Oliver Paolucci of Wells fishes for striped bass at Kennebunk Beach. Today is expected to become partly sunny with highs in the lower 70s.
