CUMBERLAND — A Cumberland man has died after being found unresponsive in an aboveground swimming pool.
Fire Chief Dan Small told WMTW-TV that officials were called Tuesday night to a home on Meadow Way, where the man’s wife was performing CPR on him after pulling him from the pool.
Small said firefighters continued performing CPR, and that the man was declared dead after being taken to Maine Medical Center. The victim’s name and age were not released.
