PORTLAND — A gasoline price website says average retail prices in Maine have fallen 1.7 cents per gallon in the past week.
MaineGasPrices.com says prices averaged $2.76 per gallon on Tuesday. That compares with the national average, which has fallen 5.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.72 per gallon.
The website says Maine average prices as of Tuesday were 9.7 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago, and 0.2 cent per gallon higher than a month ago.
