KITTERY, Maine — A Maine man who once managed a brothel out of a Kittery health club is due to get out of prison after serving a five-year sentence in federal prison.
Fifty-nine-year-old Gary Reiner was convicted of promoting prostitution at the former Danish Health Club, which masqueraded as a massage business, and laundering $4 million in proceeds.

Reiner was once a soccer dad, lawyer and town councilor in Kittery.
The Portsmouth Herald says Reiner is getting out of prison today in Philadelphia 216 days early because of good time he amassed while being held.
State and federal officials raided the brothel on June 4, 2004 and found 25 five prostitutes working two shifts, seven days a week.
