Saco police plan to distribute flyers alerting residents to the presence of a registered sex offender who is moving to an apartment on Pleasant Street.
Jeremiah C. Hastings was convicted in 2002 of gross sexual assault for having sex with someone younger than 14 and unlawful sexual contact for subjecting someone younger than 14 to sexual contact, according to the Maine Sex Offender Registry.
An alert from Saco Police said he has moved to 59 Pleasant St.
Hasting, 33, had been living in Scarborough as recently as last month according to the Maine Sex Offender Registry.
