The ABC News show “20/20” plans to broadcast a story on the Linda Dolloff attempted murder case on Friday night’s program.

Dolloff, a 48-year-old Standish yoga instructor, was convicted in May of trying to kill her estranged husband, Jeffrey Dolloff, with a baseball bat then shooting herself to make it look like a robbery.

Linda Dolloff said she had no animosity toward her husband even though they were getting a divorce and he was planning to have another woman stay at their house. She said the two had drinks in the hot tub and had sex before going to bed in separate rooms the night of the attack.

Jeffrey Dolloff said he remembers nothing of the attack.

Linda Dolloff is weighing whether to appeal the conviction and has not yet been sentenced.

The hour-long “20/20” program was reported by correspondent Jim Avila, who interviewed both Dolloffs, according to ABC News. The reporter also interviewed Cumberland County District Attorney Stephanie Anderson, Dolloff’s attorney Daniel Lilley, and police investigators.

The program airs locally at 10 p.m. on WMTW, Channel 8.
