AUGUSTA — The Maine State Lottery and the New England Patriots will introduce the Maine Lottery Patriots instant ticket on Thursday, the lottery agency said in a statement.

Maine lottery director Dan Gwadosky and former Patriots center Pete Brock will formally announce the partnership at a 1:30 p.m. news conference at Fitzpatrick Stadium, Portland. The Patriots instant ticket game is the first licensed NFL lottery product for the Maine Lottery.

The Maine State Lottery was established in 1974 by Maine voters in a statewide referendum.
