BIDDEFORD — Police say they’ve arrested a 41-year-old man for last week’s robbery of a local credit union.

Deputy Chief JoAnne Fisk said Glenn Brackett was arrested Sunday for allegedly making off with more than $3,000 from a Biddeford branch of PeoplesChoice Credit Union.

Police said Brackett is a transient and was staying at a Biddeford motel when he was arrested by members of Biddeford Police Department and the Southern Maine Violent Crimes Task Force.

Officials said they traced the robbery to Brackett using fingerprints and DNA from a note the suspect passed to a teller.
