The Casco Bay striper tournament will be held Aug. 21 and 22, with an opening Captain’s Reception and raffle at 5 p.m. Aug. 20 at the Royal River Grille House in Yarmouth. The catch-and-release tournament will raise funds for the Department of Marine Resources, the Coast Conservation Association of Maine and the Yarmouth Rotary Club. The registration fee is $50, and will include admission to the reception, which will offer food, a cash bar and chance to win prizes. Entry for the 12-and-under tournament is $10. The tournament has striped bass, bluefish and striped bass fly-fishing divisions, and offers cash prizes of up to $1,000. For more information, visit
