At 7 p.m. Saturday, Sarah Lee Guthrie and Johnny Irion will play a benefit concert for Ever After Mustang Rescue at Kennebunk Town Hall, 1 Summer St. Tickets cost $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Kennebunk singer-songwriter Jennifer Comeau will open the show.

A Biddeford-based nonprofit organization, Ever After Mustang Rescue rescues and rehabilitates wild mustangs and either transitions them to new homes or offers them lifetime care.

Guthrie is the granddaughter of folk pioneer Woody Guthrie and the daughter of contemporary folk singer Arlo Guthrie. Irion is her husband.

They will perform songs from their upcoming CD “Bright Examples,” due out in January. The record is a collaboration with San Francisco folk band Vetiver. They will also sing songs from their debut album “Exploration” and their family album “Go Waggaloo.”

Advance tickets are available at Sam’s Place in Saco, Marlow’s in Kennebunk, Poofberry’s in Kennebunk and The Red Geranium in Biddeford Pool. Visit kennebunkcoffeehouse.com or call 985-3207.
