Army Pvt. Joshua L. Kuusela has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Kuusela is the son of Louise Kuusela of Raymond and is a 2004 graduate of Windham High School.
Navy Seaman Apprentice Sean M. Sunderlin recently completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Sunderlin is the son of Eva and Jeff Sunderlin of Kittery and is a 2008 graduate of Robert Williams Traip Academy, Kittery.
Army Sgt. Steven Lanigra has deployed to Afghanistan, to serve in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Lanigra is a CH47F helicopter crew chief assigned to Task Force Destiny, 101st Combat Aviation Brigade at Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan. He is the son of Joanne Lanigra of Saco and Robert Lanigra of Scarborough. Sgt. Lanigra is a 2002 graduate of Thornton Academy, Saco, and has served in the military for eight years.
