Janet Ledoux has recently joined Drummond Woodsum as a real estate paralegal in the law firm’s Portland office. She has more than 25 years of experience in real estate. 

Alex Strugatskiy has joined R.W. Gillespie & Associates Inc. as a geotechnical technologist. He recently held the post of environmental specialist in the state’s Radiation Control Program and was previously employed with a mineral exploration company.

PROMOTIONS

Lee Centeno has been promoted to director of business change management at Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Centeno has been with Anthem since 2003.

Saco Valley Credit Union has promoted Sean Ready and Kelly LaBrecque. Ready, who has been with the credit union for seven years, has been promoted to associate vice president of lending. LaBrecque, who has been with the credit union for 11 years, has been promoted to associate vice president of member services.

Tracy Gammon has been promoted to manager of Northeast Bank’s Poland branch. She has served as assistant branch manager since 2007. 

FISC Solutions has promoted Bonnie Thomas to processing services director. She has been with the company since September 2003.

Melissa Anderson Duffy of Duffy Anderson Investment Management Inc. in Cumberland Foreside was recently named one of the Top 100 Independent Advisors in America by Registered Rep. magazine, a leading financial services industry publication. 

Security Shredding, a green document destruction company, has gained accreditation through the National Association for Information Destruction. It is only one of four Maine-based businesses to achieve this distinction.

Suzanne Nance, Maine Public Radio director of music and hostess of MPR’s “Morning Classical Music” program, was recently recognized with a Friend of the Arts award from Ogunquit Performing Arts for her significant contributions to the growth and development of the arts.

Charles Nickerson, president of R.W. Gillespie & Associates, has been appointed to Central Maine Community College’s Architectural and Civil Engineering Program Advisory Committee.
