NEW FACES

Allison Bryant has been named store manager of TD Bank at Great Falls Plaza in Auburn. Bryant, who has 15 years of banking experience, previously served as a vice president for merchant service sales at Bank of America in Maine and New Hampshire. 

Michael Graham has joined KG Partners as director of strategic planning. Previously, he spent five years consulting for the Automotive Group at GfK Custom Research. 

Elizabeth Schidzig and Walter Arsenault have joined Design Group Collaborative, an architectural design and planning firm, as senior associates in the Portland office. Both were previously with MorrisSwitzer and have extensive experience in health care, education and corporate design. 

Tabitha Swanson of Gorham has joined Marshall & Libby LLC as a principal. She has 10 years of accounting experience, most recently in the health care and legal sectors. 

Adam Marquis has joined Trask-Decrow Machinery as a service technician. He is a graduate of Bangor Christian High School and Eastern Maine Community College, where he focused his efforts on automation and electrical power. 

Kim Morrison has joined College Solutions, a college consulting firm in South Portland, as a college consultant. She has seven years of experience in the financial aid field and joins her father, Jeff Morrison, in Maine’s largest college placement practice. 

Brandon Caliendo, Vincent Grassi, Alicia Robinson and Corey Theriault have joined MACTEC Engineering and Consulting Inc. of Portland. Caliendo, a recent graduate of Northeastern University, joins as a staff geotechnical engineer. Grassi, a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology, joins as a project engineer. Robinson joins as a senior scientist with 20 years of experience in a diverse background spanning environmental auditing, wetlands and wildlife management, remediation, construction oversight and consulting. Theriault joins as a senior engineer with experience in areas of water and wastewater, environmental management and facilities and maintenance management. 

Michael Splane has joined FISC Solutions as an account executive. He has a background in business development and sales.

AWARDS and RECOGNITION

Northeast Delta Dental was honored with the Service Above Self Award by the Rotary Club of Saco Bay for its support of the University of New England College of Dental Medicine, the Counseling Services Inc.’s annual Drive Against Child Abuse fundraiser and numerous oral health access awareness initiatives throughout the state. 

Bangor Savings Bank was recently named 2010 Best Bank in the Bangor area by the organization BestOfSurveys.com, a division of Market Surveys of America. 

The University of New England will honor Ruth Foster, Deborah Carey Johnson, Dr. Katherine Pope and Jean Wilkinson during the 49th annual Deborah Morton Convocation and Awards Ceremony on Tuesday. The award recognizes outstanding women who have achieved high distinction in their careers and public service or whose leadership in civic, cultural or social causes has been exceptional.

Jane Honeck is retiring after 28 years as a founder and partner at Honeck O’Toole. She has decided to retire from public accounting to pursue her dreams of publishing, coaching and teaching. 

Jeff Pike of Business Writing Services, Dylan Knight of Knight Property Services, Shirley Douglas of Douglas Design and Kelly Flagg of Flaggship Landscaping have joined the board of directors for the Gorham Business Exchange. Each will serve a three-year renewable term. 

Paula Banks, a certified geriatric care manager, has been named to the Maine Gerontological Society board of directors. She has worked with the elderly for more than 25 years. 

Burgess Advertising & Marketing has been selected to provide full marketing services for Portland International Jetport for the next three years.
