Turning ‘Wine to Water’ aim of unique benefit
YOU’VE HEARD the story of Jesus turning water into wine. That’s a trick ordinary folks can’t muster, but it is possible to do the reverse at Wine to Water, a benefit wine tasting to raise money for clean water in the Third World. Fifteen Washington state wines will be sampled, with Terra Cotta Pasta Co. providing light eats.

Spirited evening set with bourbon tasting
SAMPLE THE BOURBONS of Kentucky with an expert at a bourbon tasting at the Salt Exchange. Jacob Jasinski, the restaurant’s executive chef, will be serving hors d’oeuvres inspired by the season and the flavors of bourbon.
