Public Theatre offers a cute cat play

THE PUBLIC THEATRE opens its 20th season with “Indoor/Outdoor,” a super-cute play about the adventures of a cat, her master and her alley-cat lover.

WHEN: Opens at 7:30 p.m. Friday and continues at 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Through Oct. 24.

WHERE: The Public Theatre, 31 Maple St., Lewiston

HOW MUCH: $18 adults; $16 seniors; $5 ages 17 and younger

Grange Hall opens with piano performance

THE SACO RIVER Grange Hall in Bar Mills opens its season with a performance by pianist Oni Buchanan, who will perform works by French composers Couperin, Foure, Debussy and Ravel.

WHEN: 3 p.m. Sunday

WHERE: The Old White Church, 15 Salmon Falls Road, next to the Saco River Grange Hall, Bar Mills

HOW MUCH: $14 adults; $12 students and seniors or by donation. Children ages 12 and younger admitted free; maximum charge for a family is $30.
