PORTLAND — A website that monitors gasoline prices says average retail prices in Maine have fallen 0.7 cent per gallon in the past week to an average of $3.01 per gallon.
MaineGasPrices.com says Sunday’s price compares with the national average, which has fallen 1.7 cent per gallon in the last week to $2.85 per gallon.
Taking into account the latest change in Maine gas prices, the statewide average Sunday was 28.9 cents per gallon higher than it was on the same day one year ago and are 12.8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
