Eric Chadwick and Todd Daley joined Custom Disability Solutions as short-term disability claims examiners in the claims department. They previously worked at Disability RMS. Michael Miesburger joined the company as lead programmer analyst in its IT department. Zoram Blancas-Ruiz joined as a benefits assistant in Custom Disability Solutions’ claims department. Blancas-Ruiz was most recently with Best Buy. 

Robert Small was named vice president and commercial loan officer in Portland for TD Bank. Small, of South Portland, has 14 years of experience in lending, finance and credit analysis and was previously a commercial loan officer with the Finance Authority of Maine in Augusta. 

Ashley Campbell joined Macdonald Page & Co. LLC as a senior staff accountant in its South Portland office. Campbell, of South Berwick, began her career in 2008 after earning her master’s degree in taxation from Bentley College. 

Claire Venegas and Bill Dodson joined Garrand, a communications agency in Portland. Venegas joined the firm as an office manager and Dodson joined the company as a traffic manager.

AWARDS and RECOGNITION

Alice Clifford, assistant district attorney for Penobscot and Piscataquis counties, was honored Nov. 19 with the 2010 Women’s Law Association’s outstanding alumna award. Clifford, 47, was hired as an assistant district attorney in Bangor in 1989 and previously worked at the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office. 

Richard Lindgren, former development director for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland, was awarded the Maine Innkeepers Association’s special service award. Lindgren has served as development director for the organization for 10 years, and helped launch MEIA’s Hospitality for Habitat program.
