With less than a week before Christmas, the holiday programs are winding down. But we’re not done quite yet.

• At 7:30 p.m. Monday, Merrill Auditorium and the Friends of the Kotzschmar Organ host “Christmas with Cornils,” featuring municipal organist Ray Cornils playing a holiday program on the Kotzschmar. He will be joined by the Kotzschmar Festival Brass, the Parish Ringers and Musica de Filia under the direction of Jaye Churchill.

At 2 and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Portland Ballet presents its annual staging of “The Victorian Nutcracker” at Merrill Auditorium in Portland. This ballet features a cast of professional dancers from the Portland Ballet Company. The story unfolds as young Olivia follows her Nutcracker Prince to the enchanted Kingdom of the Sweets, where she is dazzled by dancers from around the world, from the Russian Trepak to the Sugarplum Fairy.

And finally, through Christmas Eve, Portland Stage Company, 25A Forest Ave., presents its annual version of the Charles Dickens classic, “A Christmas Carol.” Performances are at noon and 5 p.m. today, 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 2 and 7 p.m. Thursday, and noon Friday.
