GRAY — Northbound lanes of the Maine Turnpike are closed, starting just before the Gray exit, because of an accident.
A tractor-trailer jackknifed shortly around 10:39 a.m., according to Maine Public Safety dispatcher Laura Paul. Maine State Police are now on the scene. It’s unclear when the lanes will reopen.
Several minor accidents, involving cars sliding off the road in the snow, have taken place on the turnpike this morning, Paul said.
