FREEPORT – Erin Hall and Aubrey Pennell scored eight points each Friday to lead Freeport to a 42-31 victory against Yarmouth in a Western Maine Conference schoolgirl basketball game.

Morgan Brown, Katie Poulin and Leigh Wyman each finished with seven points for the Falcons (4-7), who built a 15-6 lead in the first quarter on the way to their fourth straight victory.

Ally Fuehrer had 11 rebounds, Wyman added eight rebounds, six steals and four assists, and Brown had eight rebounds and three blocked shots for Freeport.

Olivia Smith scored 16 points for Yarmouth (1-10).

YARMOUTH 92, FREEPORT 31: Josh Britten had 32 points and eight rebounds, and Luke Pierce added 20 points to lead the Clippers (8-3) to a victory at Freeport (0-11).

Aiden Sullivan added 13 points for Yarmouth, which led 52-20 at the half. Britten and Pierce each scored 20 in the first half.

Kyle Strozewski scored 12 points for Freeport.
