ORONO — The Maine football team says its schedule next fall includes a game against Bowl Championship Series member Pittsburgh.
The Black Bears today released their 2011 schedule, which includes a Sept. 10 road game at Pitt. It will mark the eighth straight season that Maine takes on a school from a BCS conference.
Maine will play five home games, including the season opener on Sept. 3 against Bryant.
Maine also plays Albany, Delaware, James Madison, Rhode Island, Richmond, Villanova, Towson, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
