MILFORD — Police in Maine say a “good Samaritan” who helped them track a man accused of robbing a bank has been charged with taking some of the money from him.

Police in Milford say 31-year-old Sean Lenane of Greenbush is accused of taking money from the suspect Thursday, telling him he was going to give police a description of the robber.

Police say the man accused of robbing the bank, 27-year-old Albert Harnois, allegedly gave Lenane $400 of the more than $10,000 that was taken.

The Bangor Daily News reports Lenane went to police anyway, telling them the type of vehicle the alleged robber was driving and the license plate.

Police caught up with Harnois and arrested him. After interviewing him, they arrested Lenane.
