Veterans Memorial Bridge will be down to one southbound lane today. The lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. to allow for work on the foundation for one of the piers that will support the new bridge.
Delays are expected but crews hope to have the span fully open by the evening rushhour.
