WINDHAM – Bonny Eagle put a crimp in Windham’s playoff hopes Friday night, bouncing back from a 27-18 halftime deficit to beat the Eagles 62-53 in an SMAA boys’ basketball game.

The Scots (15-3) started the third quarter with an 8-0 run and outscored the Eagles 25-14 during the quarter, with Dustin Cole scoring 12 of his 19 points.

Steve Simonds added 14 points, Cole Libby 12 and Levi Meggison 10 for Bonny Eagle.

Nolan Allen paced Windham (8-10) with 29 points.

CAPE ELIZABETH 53, FALMOUTH 44: Theo Bowe scored 26 points and grabbed seven rebounds, and the Capers (14-4) rallied from a first-quarter deficit before holding off the Yachtsmen (8-10) at Cape Elizabeth.

Cam Brown added 12 points and Joey Doane scored 11 for Cape Elizabeth, which outscored Falmouth 33-20 during the second and third quarters.

Jack Cooleen had 12 points and Matt Kingry scored 11 to pace the Yachtsmen.

WESTBROOK 66, GORHAM 34: Sean Murphy made seven 3-pointers and finished with 23 points to lead the Blue Blazes (12-6) over the visiting Rams (3-15).

Nguot Ngout added 15 points and Trevor Bates had 12 rebounds for Westbrook, which led 26-11 at halftime.

Carter Bowers scored 15 for Gorham.

MARSHWOOD 61, NOBLE 47: Adam Augulewicz hit two 3-pointers and Tyler Hickey had five points as Marshwood (10-8) opened with an 11-0 run against Noble (3-15) at North Berwick.

Hickey led the Hawks with 16 points; Jack Verrill added 13 and Addison Casey had 10.

Brady Dodge scored 12 points for the Knights.

WELLS 67, FREEPORT 43: Doug McLean had 19 points and Jake Moody scored 18 to power the Warriors (11-7) past the Falcons (0-18) at Freeport.

Chandler Birmingham and Josh Weirich each had seven points for Freeport.

YARMOUTH 67, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 42: Josh Britten made six 3-pointers and finished with 24 points to lead the Clippers (14-4) over the Patriots (10-8) at Gray.

Luke Pierce added 18 points for Yarmouth, which outscored the Patriots 16-3 in the fourth quarter.

Gray-New Gloucester was led by Heath Martell with 17 points and Josh Farynaz with 10.

WAYNFLETE 55, GOULD ACADEMY 33: Joe Veroneau scored 15 points and Jack Cutler added 13, and the Flyers (11-5) held the Huskies (7-9) to eight points in the first half as they cruised to a win at Portland.

Will Bunge had 15 points and Abe Bartlett scored 12 to lead Gould Academy.

KENNEBUNK 30, SCARBOROUGH 28: Christian Elkington drove for the winning basket with eight seconds left as the Rams (6-12) completed a comeback against visiting Scarborough (8-10).

Ethan Drigotas had seven of his 12 points in the third quarter as the Rams rallied for a 14-9 advantage.

Jack Adams scored seven points for the Red Storm.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 48, ACADIA CHRISTIAN 24: Ben Hammond had 12 points and 21 rebounds for his 17th straight double-double as the Lions (4-14) defeated the Seahawks (0-16) at Portland.

OLD ORCHARD BEACH 47, NYA 36: Nate Dow scored 18 points and Ryheem Lang added 16 to lead the Seagulls (13-4) over the Panthers (7-11) at Old Orchard Beach.

Mike Ianno had 15 points for NYA.
