SCARBOROUGH—An accident on Gorham Road late Friday night has resulted in the death of one woman.
Police said Alicia Robinson, 21, of Cape Elizabeth died from injuries sustained in an accident that occurred around 11:15 p.m. Friday. Robinson was driving a 2002 Toyota Camry when she crossed the center line, veered off the road and hit a tree, authorities said.
Robinson was transported to Maine Medical Center, where she died early this morning.
The accident occurred near the intersection of Spring Street. Scarborough Police continue to investigate the accident.
