LEWISTON — Anthony Figlioli scored the winning goal in overtime to give York High the Class B state boys’ hockey championship with a 4-3 win over Brewer High this afternoon at the Colisee.

York, which was denied its its two previous trips to the state title game, including a loss to Brewer last year, celebrated on the ice and then off it with the Wildcats’ fans.

Figlioli and Craig Decato scored two goals apiece for York.

Decato’s second goal, on an assist from Figlioli, tied the game 3-3 with 3:32 left to play.

Then, 43 seconds into overtime, Figlioli shot a puck from behind the goal line. It bounced off the Brewer goalie and in.

The Wildcats finished 16-5 record. Brewer finished 19-1-1.
