GORHAM — Student actors at Gorham High School will present a benefit performance of the one-act play “Elephant’s Graveyard” at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the the McCormack Performing Arts Center.

The school won first place in the regional state high school one-act play competition last weekend at Morse High School in Bath, and advances to the state finals in Camden March 25-26.

“Elephant’s Graveyard” features seniors Ian Hawkes, Sarah Kennedy, Megan Mitchell and Joshua Plummer. Juniors include Adam Bourgault, Nathaniel Dombek, Katelyn DiLorenzo, Lincoln Gray, Lia Van de Krol and Quincy Owens. Sophomores are Maxwell McNally, Kristin Nelson and Merill Porterfield. Rounding out the cast are freshmen Joseph Lambert, Kevin Lombard and Collin Young.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $4 for students/seniors, $6 for others.
