AUGUSTA — Maine is getting a new look on its driver’s licenses and state identification cards.
Secretary of State Charles Summer is unveiling the new design and details about the rollout today at his office in Augusta.
The updated licenses and state IDs will contain enhanced features that Summers says make the cards more secure.
The design is based on guidelines established by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators.
