MADISON — A Maine sheriff says a jail inmate who died while serving a 90-day sentence suffered a brain aneurysm.
Sixty-one-year-old Richard Greco of Dixfield died Saturday night at the Somerset County Jail in Madison.
Sheriff Barry Delong tells the Sun Journal newspaper jail staff started CPR on Greco and emergency personnel were on the scene within 11 minutes, but Greco could not be revived.
Greco was serving a sentence for his involvement in a fatal 2009 crash in Wilton.
