KEENE N.H. – Seven players scored to help build an 8-0 lead over the opening 20 minutes Thursday and Bowdoin went on to a 15-3 victory over Keene State in women’s lacrosse.

Katy Dissinger had two goals in the surge and added two more in the second half when the Polar Bears (3-1) strung together seven more against the Owls (1-4).

Carolyn Gorajek finished with three goals for Bowdoin.

ST. JOSEPH’S 16, THOMAS 5: Alyssa Marchant had four goals as the Monks (2-0) had an easy time with the Terriers (1-1) at Memorial Field in Portland.

Erika Waterhouse, Megan Cutter and Amelia Santos each had three goals for the Monks, who led 13-3 at halftime.

Cassandra Diplock added a pair of goals.

Ceara DiBiase scored twice for Thomas.

WELLESLEY 11, USM 8: Jenny Holland scored four of her five goals in the first half as the Blue (5-1) took a 9-2 lead over the Huskies at Clermont, Fla.

Rosie Forster scored three goals for USM (1-4). Shelby Turcotte had two.

COLBY 9, CASTLETON ST. 6: The Mules (3-2) opened the third quarter with four straight goals to take a 7-3 lead over the Spartans (0-4) at Castleton, Vt.

BUFFALO STATE 12, USM 2: Sam Wilkins pitched a six-hitter and Sam Strapason had four hits with four RBI as the Tigers (2-1) downed the Huskies (2-9) in six innings at Clermont, Fla.

Katie Davis and Sarah Deroche each drove in a run for the Huskies.

ELMHURST 8, COLBY 0: Lindsay Nauman pitched a no-hitter and the Blue Jays (3-8) forced the mercy rule with a five-run fifth inning against the Mules (1-6) at Clermont, Fla.

ELMHURST 7, USM 2: Stephanie Iori pitched four-hitter with eight strikeouts to lead the Blue Jays (4-8) over the Huskies (2-10) at Clermont, Fla.

WIS.-WHITEWATER 2, BOWDOIN 0: Jessica Stang scattered six hits while striking out 12 and Haley Krueger hit a two-run homer as the Warhawks (9-2) topped the Polar Bears (5-10) at Clermont, Fla.

Kara Nilan had three hits for Bowdoin.

WIS.-STEVENS POINT 12, USM 4: Justin Jirschele had three hits with five RBI as the Pointers (6-2) handled the Huskies (6-5) at Auburndale, Fla.

OTTERBEIN SWEEPS COLBY: Matt Frey held the Mules (2-6) to four hits to lift the Cardinals (6-4) to a 4-0 win in the opener, and Matt Workman had four hits and four RBI to pace them in a 24-11 win in the second game at Fort Myers, Fla.

ST. JOSEPH’S: The college said it will host the semifinals and final of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference tourney April 30 and May 1.
