LEWISTON – Lewiston goalie Cam Poussard was named the Travis Roy Award winner for the 2010-2011 season today.

Poussard is the first Blue Devil to win the Travis Roy Award, given annually to the top senior in Class A high school hockey in Maine. Poussard received the award at the Ramada Inn and Conference Center in Lewiston.

This season, Poussard recorded an 0.73 goals against average and a .960 save percentage and led Lewiston to the state Class A championship game. 

In four seasons, not including the 2010-2011 playoffs, Poussard went 53-15-5 and with 27 shutouts.

Poussard was one of four finalists for the award, joining Thornton Academy’s Sam Canales, Biddeford’s Nick Gagne and St. Dominic Academy’s Alex Parker.
