The Battle of the Badges hockey game will be held 7 p.m. Saturday at the Lewiston Colisee. The game features Maine firefighters taking on Maine police officers. Tickets are $2 or $5 for a family. Proceeds go to the Hogan Family of Lisbon Falls who lost two young girls in a house fire.
The Run-A-Hound 5K race will be held April 23 at 9:30 a.m. The race will start and finish at Youthlinks, at 420 Broadway in Rockland. Registration is $10 for runners with a dog, $15 for runners without a dog and $8 for students with or without a dog. Proceeds benefit Youthlinks Animal Programs.
